Vintage 1950s Bendix Automatic Home Ironer
Rotary Iron / Mangle – Rare Complete Unit – LOCAL PICKUP (Louisville, KY)
This is a wonderful vintage Bendix Automatic Home Ironer, manufactured in the early–mid 1950s by the Bendix Home Laundry Institute. These machines were designed to quickly press linens, sheets, tablecloths, and clothing using a heated rotary drum and pressure shoe.
This unit includes:
• Original built-in stand/cabinet
• Heated rotary drum
• Fabric roll cover and padding
• Complete control panel (“finger-tip control”)
• Speed adjustment lever
• Top cover
• Original operating manual
• Original care instruction sheet
Condition:
The ironer appears intact with all major components present. Shows typical vintage wear, scuffs, and dust from storage. I have not tested it, so it is being sold as-is, untested. The manual and extras are in good vintage condition and add to its collector value.
Measurements: (approx.)
• Width: 36–40”
• Height: 32–34”
• Depth: 20–22”

Because of its size and weight, this item is Local Pickup Only – Louisville, KY 40203.
