This is a handsome Art Deco–era Waltham Premier dress watch with a rectangular 10K gold-filled case by Star Watch Case Co. It has stepped, hooded lugs and ribbed top and bottom bezel sections that give it a lot of presence for its size.
The silver dial has an inner rectangular panel, stylized gold Arabic numerals, a railroad-style outer track, and a square-framed sub-seconds register at 6. The original gold-tone leaf hands match the dial.
Inside is the American-made Waltham Premier caliber 750, a 17-jewel manual-wind movement. The dial, movement and inside caseback are all signed Waltham Premier.
