A very good copy from 1936 of a book that was first published with a press run of 750 copies in 1929. Large format -- roughly 13 by 10 inches with 218 deckled pages. Dark blue boards with gilt on front cover and the spine. Blind stamp of horses heads on four corners of the front cover. Many photos and illustrations. It appears that there has been some moisture damage at the top of some of the pages and that may be most noticeable on the title page. Some of the damage can be seen on other pages and a bit of waviness caused by moisture can be detected on some pages. These problems are not all that obvious and a buyer might not notice them until they were pointed out. Some foxing and age toning on endpapers and other pages, most notably on the rear endpapers.
