Vintage Waltham Art Deco rectangular mechanical wristwatch, believed to date from approximately the 1930s.
This handsome period watch features a curved rectangular silver-tone case and an aged cream/gold-tone dial signed WALTHAM. The dial has distinctive raised Art Deco Arabic numerals and a decorative rectangular inner minute track.
The watch retains an old dark brown leather strap, which is heavily deteriorated and broken/separated at one end. The strap is included for originality and display but will require replacement if the watch is to be worn.
The watch shows substantial authentic vintage wear, including dial toning, spotting and discoloration, case scratches and surface wear, and deterioration to the leather strap. Green oxidation/residue is visible around the upper strap attachment area.
