Outstanding early Pontiac Art DecoRunning Chiefhood ornament featuring the famous full-figure Native American Chief in a dramatic running pose.
The Chief has his arms extended forward and backward, a large streamlined feather headdress and the distinctivearrow running horizontally through the figure. The highly stylized design is an excellent example of Pontiac's Native American imagery from the 1930s.
The ornament has a bright chrome/nickel-colored finish and is currently mounted on theblack display base shown in the photographs, making it an impressive display piece.
Condition:Good vintage condition with visible age and use. There are scratches, surface wear, plating wear and other imperfections Should be confirmed by the buyer from the photographs.
