Vintage 1935/1936-era Parker Brothers Monopoly game featuring the classic early design, wooden playing pieces, wooden houses and hotels, property deeds, money, and illustrated Chance and Community Chest cards.A wonderful early Monopoly set with lots of character and original vintage appeal. Includes 7 colorful wooden player pawns, 30 green wooden houses, 12 red wooden hotels, property deeds, play money, Chance and Community Chest cards, and two green dice. The green dice are included as found; I cannot confirm that they are original to this set.The playing side of the folding board displays nicely for its age with expected toning, spotting and wear. The blue exterior/back of the board is in rough condition, with significant edge wear, fraying, exposed material and corner damage separation as shown in the photos.Original small Monopoly accessory box is included and has considerable age-related wear, including edge corner damage, surface wear and writing on the lid. The large outer Monopoly box is NOT included.This is an approximately 90-year-old game and has not been verified as complete.
