This a 1930’s Columbia Built Torpedo Youth Girls bicycle.
Made in the USA
Bike is in fair to good condition. I will supply as many details as possible.
1. serial number - C165213
2. rear hub - Perry England 28-13(hub turns and appears to function properly including brake feature)
3. Seat - Mesinger saddle in good condition(I have not identified any major tears or cracking)
4. Color - light blue and white
5. tanks - left and right both in good condition
6. rear luggage rack - present in good condition
7. chain guard - present in good condition(chain oiler still attached)
8. Wheels and tires - tires are dry rotted, tubes hold air(for how long has not been determined)
wheels do have rust.
9. pedals and chain - in fair to good condition
10. overall as stated bicycle is in fair to good condition. There is rust and pitting in various areas.
For a bike 80 years old it has survived fairly well.
The current listing is for pick up only but I would consider assisting with transporting to a carrier if the purchaser wanted to arrange packaging and shipping.
