Very Heavy Antique Solid Silver Double Albert Watch Chain 17 inch 1903 138 grams This one is a very heavy antique sterling silver double Albert pocket watch chain with graduated curb links, a t-bar and working dog catches. Each link of the chain is hallmarked with the lion passant sterling silver mark. The bulls eye link is hallmarked Birmingham 1902. The t-bar is hallmarked for sterling silver Birmingham 1903 maker’s mark HA&S. Both dog catches work well, and close tightly shut. Both dog catches are hallmarked for sterling silver Birmingham 1903 (hard to read on one catch) maker’s mark HA&S. The middle link has the maker\'s mark HA&S. This watch chain is long enough to be worn as a necklace.Weighs in at 138 grams approx.
Measurements: 17 inch long approx. Plus the extra 1 & ¾ inches of links for attaching a fob. The middle link is 13 mm wide.
Condition: In excellent condition.
