Rare, vintage pair of heavy-duty ECCO men\'s outdoor hiking boots. Built to last a lifetime, this specific generation features thick, premium full-grain black leather uppers paired with ECCO\'s highly coveted, ultra-durable \"Latex\" lug outsoles.
Unlike modern polyurethane soles that can degrade over time, these specialized vintage natural latex soles remain incredibly flexible, provide maximum shock absorption, and are heavily built to endure tough conditions.

Condition:Pre-owned with a significant flaw. The rubber heel emblem plate on the back of the boot has split/cracked open, exposing the inner lining foam (see close-up photo). Original inserts have been replaced with green superfeet inserts. The leather upper remains thick and the rare vintage latex outsoles are in excellent condition with deep tread. Selling completely AS-IS for parts, repair, or rough project work.
