VERY COOL VINTAGE BSA SHIRT WITH a ROUTE 66 CONNECTION!
I am not a BSA collector so you guys can probably date this better than I can. I would estimate it to be 1950s-1960s just due to the tag stating the shirt is SANFORIZED.
This is from the Galena Kansas Troop 66 with the shoulder patches showing this. Route 66 runs through Galena and I assume it was intentional that someone named this troop 66 which I think is super cool!
There is also a patch on front showing MO-KAN AREA COUNCIL - FRANK CHILDRESS SCOUT RESERVATION.
The sash is included and has 13 merit badges sewn on.
The Material condition on both is very good and was clearly well made. There are some light underarm white stains and a stain at the bottom of the back shown in close ups. I saw one more small stain up by the neck of the back. Overall this is very nice.
