This is a beautiful, highly collectible Mid-Century Modern ceramic lady head vase by Rubens Originals, produced in Japan in 1963. Known affectionately by collectors as the \"Snow Queen,\" this model features a glamorous blonde woman framed by a heavily textured, molded white winter hood and cape.Details & Features: Features prominent, hand-painted black eyelashes, orange-red lips, and a fair complexion. The lower portion is adorned with molded flowers highlighted in gold accents.Markings: The bottom base is clearly incised with the model number 493M and retains its original red and gold foil \"Rubens Originals - Japan - Los Angeles\" distributor sticker.Dimensions: Approximately 5.75 to 6 inches in height.Condition: Excellent vintage condition. The porcelain body is structurally sound. The interior is very clean. One small chip on eye lash.
