- Operation: It is a small plastic \"squeeze gun\". Operating on a simple pneumatic or mechanical pressure mechanism, it shoots small projectiles when squeezed \"hard and fast\".
- Performance: The original packaging boasted a long-range firing distance of up to 20 feet.
- Safety: True to the era\'s marketing for children\'s toys, it was labeled explicitly as \"harmless\" on the retail display.
- Original Cost: When first released in the 1950s, it sold for a mere 5 cents each.
- Colors: The toy was produced in several bright, solid plastic colors, most notably red, blue, and yellow.
- The Individual Guns: These small, colorful, soft-plastic \"squeeze\" or pneumatic pop guns were manufactured in Hong Kong and originally sold for just $0.05 (5 cents) each.
