Lovely pair of (non-identical) G A Scott’s classic star-cut Maclamp TL33 gooseneck desk lamps in grey from the mid-late 1960s, clean and ready to plug in. All original, in good cared-for vintage condition. Please see our other Maclamps. G.A. Scott’s Maclamp Company Ltd was an independent firm based in Acton, West London and had no connection with Terence Conran other than supplying their products to Habitat after Conran opened the first shop in 1964.Description: Authentic pair of vintage 1960’s Maclamp gooseneck desk lamps in a grey finish. Designed with iconic mid-century styling, these feature conical shades with starburst/perforated vent holes along the top and rim, flexible brass-toned gooseneck arms, and circular bases with push-button switches.Condition: Overall Condition: Very good vintage condition overall with minor age-appropriate wear.Note: These are non-matching lamps, one has a slightly longer shade and is slightly less glossy than the other, and the shade/neck connectors are different shapes.Defects/Wear: Both lamps show light surface patina expected with age (as shown in detailed close-up photos).Functionality: Both lamps are in good vintage working order with intact bases, switches, and wiring. The lamps take 40w bayonet bulbs.Note: As with all vintage electrical items, safety testing/PAT testing by a qualified electrician is recommended prior to regular use.TL33 press advert from 1964 not included.
