VINTAGE (circa 1951) 17 JEWEL ELGIN GRADE 573 POCKET WATCH
Offered is this vintage Elgin men\'s pocket watch (circa 1951). It is the Grade 573 model 20 that features a lever set manual 16s 17j movement. The white dial features large Arabic indices for easy reading. The dial also features a seconds sub dial. The watch is housed in a 51mm 10K gold-filled case. The best way to determinecondition is to view all 13 of the attached magnified photos. That said, this timepiece is in good original vintage condition with nobrassing or dents, justnormal wear small scuffs/scratches and blemishes (as pictured). The dial also has some scuffs/scaratches (as pictured) and the crystal is mint. It is running great keeping very good time for a watch of this vintage (less than two minutes fast or slow in a twelve hour period-tested) and as a vintage watch with an unknown service history we recommend that you have it serviced by your local watchmaker for long term reliable time keeping.
