For sale is a vintage Benchmade / Walter Brend Combat Folder from the sought-after Bali-Song era of Benchmade production. This knife features black anodized aluminum scales, a satin-finished ATS-34 blade, and the original Walter Brend maker's mark. The blade is marked "BENCHMADE U.S.A." with the Bali-Song butterfly logo, ATS-34 steel designation, and Brend maker's stamp. Additional production marking "0240" is present on the blade. Condition is very good for its age. The blade retains its original satin finish with visible factory markings. There are light scratches and handling marks consistent with normal carry and use, but no major damage. The black aluminum scales show minor edge wear and a few small dings from age and handling. The knife opens smoothly and locks up solidly.A great opportunity to own a piece of early Benchmade history and a classic Walter Brend collaboration.
