Authentic, unworn late 1950s/early 1960s fit-and-flare day dress by the highly collectible Texas brand Basila Frocks. This is true New Old Stock (Deadstock) and still has its original retro paper hangtag attached!
Features a black and white abstract graphic floral print, chic boat neck, cute cap sleeves, and a pleated A-line skirt. It even includes the original matching fabric belt! The belt has some signs of rust due to age. Features a sturdy, vintage heavy-duty metal Talon/Faloon zipper pull. It has excellent structural integrity.
*Please note: This dress has been sitting in storage for over 60 years. There are some very light, minor rust discoloration marks on the cotton fabric in a few places on the dress, along the metal zipper and on the belt. It is normal for the age of an unworn dress, and does not take away from how stunning this piece looks. Selling as-is to keep the tag pristine and intact!
Size: Tagged vintage size 12, which runs much smaller than today's clothing. Best fits a modern size Small (roughly a modern 4 or 6).
