During the 1992 season, the Iowa Hawkeyes field hockey team had an exceptional run under legendary head coach Beth Beglin. They finished the season undefeated in regular conference play to capture the Big Ten Title, eventually advancing all the way to the NCAA National Championship game where they finished as national runners-up.
