Up for sale is an authentic, original 1969 US first pressing of The Beatles - Abbey Road on vinyl.This is a highly desirable transitional variation for Beatles collectors. It features the scarce \"Drain Cover\" front jacket (showing the metal street grate on the bottom right of the zebra crossing) paired with the revised back cover that lists \"Her Majesty\" in the tracklist. This proves it was manufactured during the very first weeks of production at the Los Angeles Capitol plant before the front artwork was permanently cropped.Condition Grading (Goldmine Standard):Vinyl Condition: Very Good (VG)The vinyl retains a nice original gloss and shine. It shows light surface scuffs and minor superficial hairline scratches under direct light, but none of them can be felt with a fingernail. It should play through nicely with typical light vintage surface noise in quiet passages, but no major skips or deep gouges.Jacket Condition: Good (G / G+)The front and back cover art graphics have vintage wear and ring wear. Also, the factory glue has dried out completely over the last 50+ years in some spots, causing the top and bottom seams to cleanly separate/peel open (see photos). There is also a small vintage handwritten \"no. 5\" in ink on the bottom left corner of the front cover.Inner Sleeve: Fair / Good Includes the original plain white inner sleeve, which shows heavy aging, tearing, and seam splits due to storage.
