Set as incomplete as you can see in some of the pieces may actually go to another slot car set. I would think you would generally be purchasing this sad for the awesome box!
Boxes in generally good condition for its age. Front art does not have any major spots of damage. Rest of box is good too, though there are minor tears and places where tape has pulled the art off. Bottom has some staining.
I concentrated my pictures on capturing as much detail of the box as I could, and took as many pictures as would let me.
