Unlike the far more common 1979 top-tearing \"Wizard Logo\" pads, this is the authentic, early 1977 side-tearing edition with 3-hole punched margin layouts and early TSR Hobbies, Inc. Lake Geneva address imprint.

Structural Condition: The cover and the very first character sheet are detached from the side glue line. The remaining 22 sheets are firmly attached to the original pad structure and backing board.
Cover Details: Features the \"TM Reg. App. for\" text under the D&D logo and TSR address box and on corresponding pages. A tiny, clean 1/4\" edge tear is present on the right margin of the cover sheet (documented clearly in close-up photos).
