This is the Canadian/American version of the EP "Half an Octopus" 12" EP released by the Cure in 1986. It accompanied the Album, "Head on the Door. The 12" versions of Close to Me included on the 45 RPM 12" of the same name contain horns which the album version does not.
This is an excellent example of the,EP which also includes the songs, "ANight Like This," "New Day," and "A Man Inside MY Mouth," with little to any surface noise (please see my ratings in terms of the accuracy of my descriptions), absolutely no skips or scrathes and palyed very little on an excellent turntable. The sleeve remains in the shrink wrap and still has the "Hype" sticker saying that "Contaains Two Previously Unreleased Tracks.
