For best results, press on a firm, heat-resistant surface (no soft ironing boards).
- Pre-heat Iron: Set your iron to the highest fabric setting (Cotton/Linen) — NO STEAM.
- Pre-heat Garment: Iron the area where the patch will go for 10–15 seconds to remove moisture and wrinkles.
- Position Patch: Place the embroidered patch face up in your desired location.
- Cover & Press: Place a cotton pressing cloth or thin towel over the patch. Press down firmly with the iron (do not move it back and forth) for 35–45 seconds.
- Back Press: Turn the garment inside out and press the back of the patch area for another 20–30 seconds to fully melt the HeatBond adhesive into the fabric.
- Cool Down: Allow the patch and fabric to cool completely before wearing or handling.
✅ Fabric Compatibility
- Recommended: Denim, Canvas, Cotton, Heavyweight Fleece, Jackets, Hats, Backpacks.
- Not Recommended: Synthetic materials like Nylon, Polyester, Rainwear, or Leather (heat can damage these surfaces; sewing is recommended for these fabrics).
🧼 Embroidery Care & Washing Instructions
- Turn item inside out before washing to protect thread detail.
- Machine wash cold on gentle cycle using mild detergent.
- Hang or air dry preferred to maintain long-term HeatBond strength.
- If using a dryer, use low heat settings only.
- For items subjected to heavy wear or frequent washing, adding a quick tack-stitch around the border is recommended for extra longevity.
