Offered here is a vintage Soviet photography collection consisting of three Smena 35mm film cameras — Smena-2, Smena-8 and Smena-8M — together with a NORMA FIL-46 electronic flash and camera cases.
This is a nice collection for a collector of Soviet cameras, vintage photography equipment or analog photography.

Smena-2
Vintage Soviet 35mm film camera with T-22 lens.
The camera has been mechanically tested. The film advance/take-up mechanism, frame counter, focusing mechanism, shutter release, shutter mechanism and shutter-speed selector operate.
The camera has not been film-tested, so photographic results are not guaranteed.
Smena-8
Vintage Soviet 35mm film camera with T-43 lens.
The film advance/take-up mechanism, frame counter, focusing mechanism, shutter release, shutter mechanism and shutter-speed selector were mechanically tested and operate.
The camera has not been film-tested.
Please note that this camera has a handwritten personal inscription/dedication on the body, which is visible in the photographs.
Smena-8M
Vintage Soviet 35mm film camera with T-43 lens.
The film advance/take-up mechanism, frame counter, focusing mechanism, shutter release, shutter mechanism and shutter-speed selector were mechanically tested and operate.
The camera has not been film-tested.
The aperture mechanism has not been fully verified for correct operation.
NORMA FIL-46 FLASH
The lot also includes a NORMA FIL-46 electronic flash, Made in USSR.
The flash has been tested with the included Smena-8M and successfully fires.
Please note that this is vintage electronic equipment powered from 220V AC. It is being sold as vintage used equipment and has not undergone professional electrical safety inspection or servicing.
Do not disassemble or attempt internal electrical repairs unless you are properly qualified to do so.
TESTING
The cameras were mechanically tested rather than film-tested.
The following functions were checked:
• Film advance/take-up mechanism
• Frame counter
• Focus mechanism
• Shutter release
• Shutter mechanism
• Shutter-speed selector
These mechanical functions operated during testing.
No film was used to verify actual photographs, exposure accuracy, light leaks or image quality.
Aperture operation has not been fully confirmed.
The NORMA FIL-46 flash was tested with the Smena-8M and successfully fired.
COSMETIC CONDITION
All items are vintage and have signs of previous use and age, including scratches, scuffs, marks and other cosmetic wear.
The Smena-8 has a handwritten personal inscription/dedication on the body.
The cases also show signs of age and previous use.
