Vintage Sony Discman D-555, made in Japan in May 1990, with original Sony AC-930A 9V power adapter.
Unit powers on and the display lights up. The CD spins, the unit recognizes the disc/track, and the buttons and volume controls appear to respond normally. However, audio does not play and the elapsed-time counter does not appear to advance, so it is being sold as-is for repair/restoration.
