This is a vintage, Solid 20g Sterling Silver, Hawaiian Heirloom Torque.
It was purchased as a gift while in Hawaii (Kawaii) in the early 1980’s (82 or 84). It was worn perhaps once before being stored for decades.
It is approximately 5 inches in width by 4 and 1/2 inches in length. It was recently cleaned using Weiman Silver Wipes and does not appear to have any staining or marks. One end of the torque has a bit more curve than the other side. Easily adjusted after it is fitted to someone’s neck.T
here is a makers mark on one end. After researching this mark, it could be a well known brand or small jeweler. I have not found an exact match. The torque was hand crafted and is likely unique. It features a classic Hawaiian Heirloom style of scroll-like waves and flowers (Hibiscus).
