This fantastic piece of history is a yearbook from Shosojo Japan Shimane Prefecture First Higher Girls School in 1942.Girls schools have an interesting history in Japan.Shosojo SchoolToyohashi Matsuko Sewing Women's School was established in September 1907 by Hikosuke Nakano in Hanada Aza Matsuyama, Toyohashi City (2nd year of main course, 1st year of practical subject, 2nd year of normal education). In April 1940, the Matsucho High School for Girls was established, and the school building was newly built and relocated to Kamishinko, Yamada-cho, Toyohashi City in November 1940. On December 7, 1944, the Nakajima Airplane Handa Factory Yamakata Factory collapsed due to the Southeast Sea earthquake, but there were no casualties or injuries among the students who were mobilized. However, on August 7, 1945, the Toyokawa Naval Arsenal was bombed, and 44 students, 2 soldiers, and 1 employee who were mobilized for work were and died. In April 1948, it became Matsuso High School and the attached junior high school due to the transition of the 6, 3, and 3 systems. However, due to the decrease in the number of students, the school was not reorganized, and in March 1951, the school was naturally closed. In addition, Matsuso Gakuen continued the Matsuso Western Tailoring Girls' School in Kagida-cho, Toyohashi City, as a Matsuso Gakuen Foundation in 1952.
