Charming set of three Japanese-style female doll figurines, each featuring a different traditional hairstyle, kimono design, and pose.
The figures have delicate hand-painted facial features and colorful floral and kimono decorations against predominantly white/ivory bodies. Each has its own distinctive design:
- Left – approx. 6-1/4\" tall: Seated/kneeling figure wearing a white kimono with vivid red and gold-tone accents, holding a decorative bowl or vessel. Elaborately styled hair with red and patterned ornamentation.
- Center – approx. 7-1/2\" tall: Standing figure with long traditional hairstyle and a softly textured ivory/cream finish. Decorated with raised pink/red plum-blossom-style flowers and branches.
- Right – approx. 7-1/4\" tall: Standing figure in a white kimono decorated with purple floral motifs, green leaves and red accents. She is shown holding a bouquet of blue and white flowers. (If the flowers are removable or were added separately, I would mention that.)
These decorative figures display beautifully together and would make an attractive addition to a collection of Japanese dolls, geisha/maiko figurines, Asian decorative arts, or vintage Japanese décor.
