Large, lovely original matched set of bisque figurines by Gebruder Heubach....no markings other than a hand-painted "3" inside each base....many of these figures are unmarked, however the finely molded and painted features and intaglio eyes are indicative of Heubach....approximately 12 1/2" tall....Excellent Condition....No Chips, No Cracks, No Repairs....the finely-molded fingers are perfect....both tennis rackets are perfect....boy has a firing line in the crease under his neck which wraps around one side (see last three photos)....this is manufacturing flaw which happened during the firing and is VERY COMMON for these figurines, especially around the necks....dark gold-colored paint has wear as it was cold-painted....from a non-smoking and pet free home....please study all photos, feel free to ask questions, and be sure to check out my other interesting antique sales!
