This is a fairly uncommon to find lens made by Schneider. This is a black, made in Germany, Schneider Xenon 50mm f1.9 lens for Exakta/Exacta (and Topcon) cameras and can be used on others with a proper adapter too....

This lens offers an aperture range of f1.9-f16 - with distances marked in feet and meters the zebra black/silver barrel design. This lens has pre-set stop down aperture arm trigger design with a pre-stopped down lever and has become Extremely popular for adapting to more modern film and Digital cameras (even full frame digital cameras if desired too ) in addition to motion picture imaging because of its classic look, known for its great sharpness and beautiful image background bokeh with an amazing 18 aperture blade design..a Great legendary quality lens. This lens comes exactly as shown, in Very nice cosmetic condition; the focus is smooth and the lens focuses at all ranges properly. The glass is very nice with no scratches, No fungus, faint haze, light dust, nice coatings. The aperture arm moves but does not appear to control the blade movement looking to be frozen close in a mostly stopped down position with light oil on the blades.
