Up for sale is an original release Wampa MIB with insert by Kenner from 1981. This is the Rebel Commander scene and a little harder to find than the more common Luke Skywalker scene. In addition, this one was a mail order one. You can tell by the white label attached to the box with the numbers “929-4208”.
The box:
The box is in pretty nice condition. The original flap was already folded and taped at the factory. The box is nice and square. It is still factory sealed on the bottom. The colors are nice and glossy.
The Insert:
The insert is in nice condition. There are no rips, holes, or tears in it. It has nice color and still pretty crisp.
The Wampa:
The Wampa is in nice condition. He has excellent paint detail. His arms and legs are still nice and tight. He is mostly white. His arms and legs are very white and his torso is just a small hint of yellow. It is definitely mostly white.
Overall this is a nice complete set.
This would be perfect for someone trying to upgrade their Wampa MIB set or for someone who has a Wampa focus.
