The clipping is a \"Quotable Quotes\" column written by the author\'s son, Orlin Brewer. It features a deeply moving, public tribute celebrating his mother\'s inclusion in the inaugural volume of Who\'s Who of American Women. The article details her incredible life story, including single-handedly running a depression-era farm by kerosene light to put her four children through college, her music lessons, and her career as a beloved schoolteacher in Tulia, Texas.
Condition:The book is in Very Good condition overall. The gray cloth/linen boards are clean, and the dark maroon stamped lettering on the front cover and spine remains sharp and highly legible. There is some minor, expected shelf wear and light fraying along the bottom edge of the spine cloth (visible in photos).
