It shows a massive crowd gathered in Trafalgar Square, London, for a major celebration. Nelson\'s Column dominates the left side of the frame, with its bronze lions visible at the base. In the background, the National Gallery and the church of St Martin-in-the-Fields can be seen. A procession route is lined by military personnel, including sailors in white hats and mounted troops, while a dark vehicle moves through the cleared path. The square is decorated with banners and garlands.
