Antique Royal Doulton Monks In The Cellar Series Ware Lidded Tobacco JarBeautiful early Royal Doulton Series Ware lidded tobacco jar featuring the Monks In The Cellar scene associated with Charles Noke.The jar measures approximately 5¼" tall with the lid on and 4½" in diameter.Features the distinctive cream/tan, brown and black decoration with a monk drinking from a bottle and detailed cellar/architectural scene. The original matching lid is included and is intact with no chips noted.CONDITION: Antique condition with several small areas of glaze loss/chipping along the black rim of the jar. There is also age-related glaze wear and crazing consistent with its age.
