In skilled hands they are precise, powerful, and extremely exciting; in the hands of an inexperienced skier they can be unforgiving, difficult to control, and potentially dangerous because they react quickly, hold an edge aggressively, and demand proper technique, strength, balance, and judgment. Buyers should honestly evaluate their ability and have the skis and any bindings professionally inspected before use.
