Revell Vintage Decal Sheet H-1444 1:25 \"The Rodfather\" T-Bucket Roadster (1972) For Sale

This is the original Revell decal from a rare 1972 model, The Rodfather T-Bucket Street Roadster. Decal is unused, in superb, glossy, as-new condition, flat, no cracks, ready for application. Size of decal sheet is 3″ X 2⅜″. MPN #9781

The Rodfather was based on a 1923 Model T, which Revell issued in several formats and kit numbers between 1963 and 2012 (most recent: 85-4922). The H-1444 version had decals that were “psychedelic”, with formless swirls and stylized flames. You can use the decals on any number of Model T or other cars or hot rods to give it some hippie-era flare!

A NOTE ON YELLOWING: Scanners may not pick up subtle color differences that the human eye can see up close under good lighting. These are the original decals and are over four decades old. There is some yellowing of the paper substrate of the sheet and while this generally should not affect the decal itself, we’ve all seen what happens to decals on models after years and years: despite starting out fresh, the clear parts of the decal can begin to discolor due to environmental effects. That may also happen to decal sheets, even those kept in secure storage, out of light, and under controlled temperatures. In the case of these decals, the yellowing of the paper is minimal, but I can’t guarantee whether any degree of yellowing has occurred on each individual decal segment.
