Rare vintage 1930s Popeye & Olive Oyl Comic stuffed Cloth Doll Knickerbocker 15” For Sale

sale is for a set of early stuffed cloth Popeye & Olive Oyl dolls. No markings but maybe made by Effanbee or Knickerbocker? Very quality made and each doll stands 15”. Im guessing made in the 1930s. Both are stuffed very well and have flat bottomed feet and wearing their original clothes. Popeye has his original pipe and hat, and has his tattoos on his biceps and you can see his facial features. Olive Oyl wears her original skirt and maybe red tie around neck? Her black hair seems to be made of yarn (?) and only a little bit of loss. Still has a little ponytail in back. Her skirt has some fading to both front and back and is a darker blue in back, and has faded in the front.Popeyes hat is white with some yellowing but attaches to his head very well and has a felt brim. His original pipe has a little loss to both top and bottom and moves a little, but its still present!They are both very clean considering their age. Popeye has a spot to the fabric on the back of his right arm and Olive Oyl has a mark to her left fingers. Popeye has felt ears and look like moth holes to his left ear.The pair is in wonderful condition for its age. Olive Oyl has her pointed nose and both have their facial features and Popeye even has details to his shirt. They are very high quality made so i dont believe them to be homemade.
