Rare antique 1837 & 38 Hippocrates Works 2 book set German Beautiful copies 2/2 For Sale

A beautiful 2/2 volume set of Hippocrates Works in German from 1837 and 1838. Bound in half leather with small leather corner tabs.The covers and binding are remarkably sound. There is age toning and spotting but not bad for the age. There is a stain which I took a photo of that runs through the top of about ten leaves at the rear of volume 1.Sharp looking set and displays well. The covers are not splitting inside or out but the top and bottom of the spine/cover crease shows wear.I bought these as VG and I think they are up to the grade for antiquarian specimens. Hippocrates books are often disbound or close due to the importance of his works.AND it\'s Hippocrates works which is a wonderful historical piece.
