Rare "Votes For Women" Original Pennat Women's Sufferage Movement.
Yellow pennant with black lettering that reads "Votes for Women." These kinds of pennants were used to make a statement about an individual's support of an issue, in this case, women's voting rights. Pennants were often carried in marches or rallies, similar to today's protests signs.
I believe the work to be from around the 1920's, but am uncertain.
The work measures 24 1/2 inches long, by 12 inches at the highest end point.
The tassel used to tie the pennant measure 19 1/2 inches long
