Up for sale is an incredibly rare, matching vintage 1984 Russ Berrie and Company “Takahare” shaggy monster plush family lot. This unique collector set includes both the hard-to-find large full-sized monster and its matching smaller mini companion version. Both pieces feature iconic 1980s styling with ultra-thick, long shaggy tan plush fur, expressive inset eyes, and matching red satin ribbon bows tied into the hair tufts on each side of their heads. Please note that the original paper hang tags are no longer attached, but both pieces have been beautifully preserved in excellent vintage condition. They feature clean fur, strong stitching, secure accents, and show no signs of heavy play wear or damage.
