Up for sale is a very old vintage Reed's "Noteless" player.
On the side of the player it says "Patented April 12-1921".
These "Noteless Players" were attached to musical instruments like guitars, ukeleles, mandolins, etc. and we're marketed to allow a player to learn how to play without needing to know how to read sheet music.
All the buttons work, and the Player comes in it's original box.
