Rare vintage heavy cast iron advertising bottle pair featuring Grand Union Company and Hoyt’s German Cologne embossed designs.
These substantial decorative bottles are modeled closely after historic American advertising and apothecary bottles. Both pieces feature raised embossed lettering and a distressed white/off-white painted finish with naturally aged surface wear.
The larger rectangular bottle displays the GRAND UNION COMPANY emblem with the distinctive triangular logo. The smaller round bottle features raised HOYT’S GERMAN COLOGNE / E.W. HOYT & CO. / LOWELL MASS. lettering.
The proportions of both cast iron pieces closely correspond to known historic glass bottle forms associated with these companies, giving them a particularly authentic period advertising appearance.
