Vintage T. Cohn Superior No. 750 Steel Split-Level Doll House with Original Box, Furnishings, Instructions & Packaging
Wonderful survivor of a mid-century T. Cohn Superior steel lithographed dollhouse, Model No. 750, manufactured by T. Cohn, Inc., Brooklyn, New York.
This example is particularly unusual because the dollhouse remained unassembled in its original packaging for decades and was first assembled in 2025. It has therefore avoided the extensive play wear commonly seen on vintage tin dollhouses.
The house features wonderful mid-century split-level architecture with bright turquoise, yellow, white and brick lithography, striped awnings, landscaped exterior, chimney and detailed six-room interior.
Included are the original coordinated pastel plastic furnishings for the six rooms. The original box advertises the set as having “Six Fully Furnished Rooms of Unbreakable Furniture.”
Please see photographs for the furniture and accessories included; I have not represented the set as 100% complete because I have not located an original factory contents list against which every individual furniture piece can be verified.

The original instructions contain an interesting factory correction printed in red directing the assembler to use the supplied nut and screw in place of the originally specified plastic fastener.
The dollhouse itself is in remarkably bright, clean condition for its age. The lithographed colors remain vivid with relatively little evidence of play wear. There are minor marks/age-related imperfections as shown in the photographs.
Please note: the original illustrated cardboard box and packing materials show considerably more age and storage wear than the house itself, including tears, creases, edge wear, old tape and losses. The original instruction sheet is also torn and worn. These materials have intentionally been preserved rather than restored because they are original to the set. Please examine all photographs carefully for condition.
The Kaufmann's department-store label provides particularly nice Pittsburgh retail provenance. The instruction sheet identifies T. Cohn, Inc., 845–65th Street, Brooklyn 20, New York.
The dollhouse was assembled once in 2025 using its original instructions and original supplied hardware.
SHIPPING: The dollhouse will be carefully disassembled for shipment following the original assembly method. The original nut and screw will be returned to their original manila envelope. Components will be individually protected, and the vintage illustrated box will not be used as the shipping carton. The complete set and original packaging will be protected inside a separate modern shipping box. LOCAL PICK UP is available for this dollhouse, in which case, I do not have to disassemble, unless requested.
Because of the age and nature of lithographed steel toys, please expect normal minor age-related imperfections even though this example has seen exceptionally little use.
