Rare Pair 18.5\" Art Deco Sconces Degué French Cloud Glass Wall Lights Huge For Sale

This pair of monumental 18.5" wall lights is a masterclass in French Art Deco. Attributed to the celebrated Verrerie d’Art Degué (David Guéron), these are not your standard residential fixtures—these are theatrical-scale architectural statements from the 1930s.

The Design

The thick, heavy, pressed-molded glass features an iconic "Spiral Cloud" or "Stylized Wave" motif. The satin-frosted finish creates a breathtaking ethereal glow when lit, perfectly diffusing the light across the intricate geometric folds. The glass is held in heavy, stepped-profile brass "slip-shade" frames that scream Machine Age luxury.

Condition Report

• Glass: Overall immaculate and clear. One shade has a minor, flat "crevice nick" (clamshell flake) tucked within the molded design (see last photo). It is virtually invisible when mounted and does not affect the structural integrity or the stunning visual impact of the piece.
