This is a wonderful 1940s Sweetheart Homefront Navy Sailor hand painted pin that is virtually mint on the original card. It has never been worn or taken off the card. It has a C closure. It is called a "Lapel Lulliputian" and is made of chalk with a cloth ribbon . Card has slight torn corners as shown in the photos. Face has slight scratching as shown. The poem on the card is interesting..."I have a girl in every port/ I sail on every sea/When i'm not hunting Nazis and japs/The girls are hunting me" Card measures 3 3/4 inches and the pin approx. 3 1/2.
