An incredible, museum quality piece of early American collegiate history! This is an authentic, jumbo (58 inch) vintage wool felt pennant celebrating North Dakota. Featuring the historic pink and green colorway, this premium souvenir was produced by the University of North Dakota (UND) and dates between 1912 and the 1920s. Unlike common mass-produced printed versions from later decades, this oversized flag features full double-applique construction, with individual pink felt letters meticulously stitched onto the vibrant forest green body. The wide header panel features a beautifully detailed, printed 48-star American flag mounted on a stitched yellow felt flagpole. It has been well preserved: felt remains vibrant, there are some signs of authentic historical wear including pinholes near flagpole header and tip of pennant, small tear at tip also.
