George W. Shiebler & Co. was a major silver manufacturing company in New York that operated from 1876 to 1910. Shiebler, an expert designer and silversmith, produced high-end specialty hollowware and novelty pieces for elite jewelers like Tiffany & Co. and Gorham. Today, pieces from Shiebler & Co. are prized for their uniqueness and craftsmanship, often fetching high prices at sales. This bon-bon/oyster spoon has an elegant iris design. The Scheibler logo, wings with an S in the middle, is one the back of the spoon. A true find! Length: 4 3/4”. Weighs 18 grams. Excellent condition. Thanks for looking!Local pick-ups okay.
