Rare early Butler & Wilson statement bib necklace, circa late 1970s – early 1980s.
This is the good early production — heavy gilt braided chain with dangling filigree coin medallions, ornate cone drops, and pearl terminals. The front is a riot of hand-set multicolor faceted crystals in sapphire blue, ruby red, emerald green, amethyst, and amber.
Signed with the classic circular Butler & Wilson cartouche on the box clasp (see photo). Excellent vintage condition — all stones present, clasp strong, gilt bright with only light age-appropriate patina.
A true collector piece, not the later mass-produced B&W. Very hard to find in this size and condition.
