Collins, S.S., D.D., and Rev. John K. Ryan, Ph.D. Published by the renowned Bruce Publishing Company of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, this particular volume features its original September 28, 1938, Imprimatur granted by Archbishop Samuel A. Stritch. Because it carries only the initial 1938 copyright with no subsequent printing dates or revisions noted, this is a verified true first press run. Binding & Aesthetic Features - Cover: Wrapped in its original, premium black pebble-grained genuine leather. The front features an elegant, understated blind-stamped Latin cross interwoven with a decorative circular motif.
