Rare 1936 Hohner Piccola Club Button Accordion Germany – Working – Original.
Beautiful and unusualHohner Piccola Club accordion manufactured in Germany and dating to 1936.
This is the earlyClub button version of the Piccola, not the much later Piccola piano-key accordion. Hohner historical model information lists the Piccola Club as a 1936 model with a 19+4 button treble configuration, 8 basses and two reed sets.
The accordion works and sounds beautiful.The bellows are intact, extend fully and operate well.
It retains its wonderful original period appearance, including the dark reddish-brown wood finish, black bellows, cream buttons, decorative metal corner fittings, “HOHNER PICCOLA” lettering and “Original Hohner” marking. It is missing the name plate on the key board.
Condition:Very good original vintage condition for an instrument approximately 90 years old. There are scratches, finish wear, marks and wear to the leather straps consistent with its age and use. Please study the photographs carefully.
The instrument hasnot been refinished or cosmetically restored. I have intentionally preserved its original patina.
