These volumes are 1-5 of 25 books. Each volume is 15.5x11.5” They were originally a subscription bought 1 volume at a time. Each volume includes plates by Gustav Dore. The pages are not bound like a book but instead inserted in a binder. The leather ties are no longer intact.
The illustrations have some edge wear and some foxing on the page edges. I have included images to show the range of condition on the plates.
